where do you get your inspiration for your poetry??

It comes from all over. The basis of it all is life though, I guess you could say. Sometimes I’m pulling from a specific moment, a specific person. Now, that doesn’t mean I always know the person. I could be watching someone at a stoplight, or it could be anyone from any point in my life. I’ve very rarely directly written to one specific person, as my lucks turns out, I tend to create something that ends up being a letdown to the power that they actually are. Five minutes ago I wrote a poem about my cat staring out the window. By the time I got done with it, it had nothing to do with my cat. That’s a good, quick, simple explanation of how it works, essentially. For me anyhow.
