Updates/Updates/Updates
joshuarobertlong.com and the Tumblr empire have brought me so many fans, I can’t possibly shake a stick at all of them.
I am again asking those same kind, devoted hearts, to help spread my words, my face, and my life to more people. Seeing as how Facebook is the most used of the social media platforms I dare in asking you to support me in growing my corner of that avenue.
At the moment, I’m up to 556 fans. My goal is that by the end of this week, we reach 600, and then we’ll continue to go after that point.

With the help of all of you, I know we can do it. I’ve got a few newer poems kicking around over the next couple of nights. They’ll debut around 8:30pm EST. When we hit 600 fans, I’ll throw up some new kind of treat for all of you, since you have made me who I am, and for that, I will remain forever in debt to you.
So please, take a moment. Lay a brick on the foundation of this empire.

“The Official U.S. time is: 00:21:47” - A spontaneously-written digital chapbook

I wanted to do an exercise in efficiency, so I spent the last twenty minutes or so putting together a very spontaneous chapbook. I am going to be posting the poems individually over the next while, but you can download them all in a digital chapbook if you wish. Click here to begin the download.
Each poem is titled the time that I began writing it.
If you don’t want to download it now, you can pick it up in the future by visiting the BOOKS section of my site and scrolling on down the page to the “Digital” section.
Reminder # 2
There’s a bit of a competition going on. It started yesterday. It’s basically to celebrate my birthday (which is tomorrow).
If you want to know more about it, click here to read the original posting.
A Full-Circle-Random-Competition
In the same styling of past competitions, I’m running another one.
This particular one is in celebration of my birthday (Wednesday, March 14th).
To enter it, it’s very simple (and follows the pattern of all previous competitions),
Only this one has a twist. A large-scale twist.
You can be entered up to four times.
And there’s another twist…
The prize will be a book of mine, though you’ll have no clue as to which one until you receive it in the mail.
You’re all familiar that I have a Facebook page, and that my previous books have their own respective fan sites on Facebook. All you have to do to enter the competition is go to those pages and “like” them. I will compile all of the names on Friday, March 16th at 8PM EST, and proceed to announce the winner of the competition at 10PM EST.
I will be using a script to produce the winning name from the list. It’s all a bit technical, but the script basically works as a random-selecting tool. It functions much more accurately than the method I used in drawing the name for the first competition, which was for a copy of Leaving Frost Upon the Walls.
Your odds of winning are much higher this time because of the four entries. But hey, it’s a birthday-sorta-thing?
As usual, if you’re not a Facebook user, you can use The Dropbox for entry. In the “Title” field enter: BIRTHDAY and then in the main post send me your name, home address, and email address. If you don’t send all of those pieces of information your entry will be voided.
Since Facebook users can “like” four different pages which produce them four entries into the competition, each user that uses The Dropbox to enter the contest will automatically be entered four times as well (to keep it fair). Also, if you’re already a fan of any or/and all of the sites/pages, you’re already entered into the contest. To be sure, you should visit them regardless and check to make sure you’re a part of all of them.
