Leaving Frost Upon the Walls now on Amazon

Leaving Frost Upon the Walls is a thirty-nine page poem covering the life of a young couple through a slightly schizophrenic viewpoint. The styling is a unique offering, as I have never before invested myself into a poem of such a length, and most likely never will again. You can pick yourself up a copy now via Amazon for a nice price. I advise you do so seeing as how it’s National Poetry Month and all that.

Click here to visit Amazon and get yourself one now.

Reminder # 3

So the redundant reminder of competition-related activities.

It’s basically to celebrate my birthday (which already happened, or is still happening depending on how you view the midnight hour).

If you want to know more about it, click here to read the original posting.

It’s all over Friday.

Get on it.

A Full-Circle-Random-Competition

In the same styling of past competitions, I’m running another one.

This particular one is in celebration of my birthday (Wednesday, March 14th).

To enter it, it’s very simple (and follows the pattern of all previous competitions),

Only this one has a twist. A large-scale twist.

You can be entered up to four times.

And there’s another twist…

The prize will be a book of mine, though you’ll have no clue as to which one until you receive it in the mail.

You’re all familiar that I have a Facebook page, and that my previous books have their own respective fan sites on Facebook. All you have to do to enter the competition is go to those pages and “like” them. I will compile all of the names on Friday, March 16th at 8PM EST, and proceed to announce the winner of the competition at 10PM EST.

I will be using a script to produce the winning name from the list. It’s all a bit technical, but the script basically works as a random-selecting tool. It functions much more accurately than the method I used in drawing the name for the first competition, which was for a copy of Leaving Frost Upon the Walls.

Your odds of winning are much higher this time because of the four entries. But hey, it’s a birthday-sorta-thing?

As usual, if you’re not a Facebook user, you can use The Dropbox for entry. In the “Title” field enter: BIRTHDAY and then in the main post send me your name, home address, and email address. If you don’t send all of those pieces of information your entry will be voided.

Since Facebook users can “like” four different pages which produce them four entries into the competition, each user that uses The Dropbox to enter the contest will automatically be entered four times as well (to keep it fair). Also, if you’re already a fan of any or/and all of the sites/pages, you’re already entered into the contest. To be sure, you should visit them regardless and check to make sure you’re a part of all of them.

Interested in winning a unique copy of Leaving Frost Upon the Walls?

There is a very simple way to enter yourself for the chance. I am compiling a list of everyone who “likes” the Facebook fan page for the book. To help people double their odds of winning, I am allowing a double-entry for those fans who have also liked my original fan page on Facebook. Those of you who already “like” the page(s) are already entered.

It’s as simple as that.

All you have to do is like the new Facebook page for the book (click here to visit). Again, if you want to double your chance at winning, you can also like my regular fan page on there as well (click here to visit it).

On Friday, January 13th, I will choose a winner randomly from the compiled list of fans at 8PM EST that evening. I will then contact that person via private messaging to acquire contact details.

It’s as simple as that.

The version up for grabs is an original proof version that features different artwork than the officially-released version. It’s a very rare chance to win an absolutely unique edition of the book. There are only two of them in existence, and one of them could be yours!

Entry closes at 8PM on Friday January 13th. The winner will be contacted by the end of Friday evening (11:59PM EST).

If you happen to have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask me via email (joshuarobertlong@me.com)
